David Evan Carr, age 73 of Logan, Indiana passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Logan, Indiana. Born September 8, 1948 in Bright the son of George and Wilda (Sheets) Carr.
David a graduate of North Dearborn High School worked for F&M MAFCO and Sperry Rubber company for many years. Served his country proudly in the United States Army during Vietnam. David in his retirement he enjoyed buying antiques and selling at Whites Farm Flea market and also enjoyed collecting and restoring Farmall tractors.
David is survived by his children Mollie (Bart) Gauck, Millie (Kevin) Fillenwarth and Jason (Mary) Carr. Grandfather of Abby (Matt) Halloran, Hannah Fillenwarth, Evan Fillenwarth, Shelby (Chad) Edwards and Jordan Campbell. Great grandfather of Avery, Zander, Brantley Edwards, Brayden, Madelyn Halloran and Branch Campbell. Brother of Joe (Mary Ann) Carr. Also survived by his significant other Joann Seymour.
Preceded in death by his parents George and Wilda Carr.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will follow at Gibson cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army and Harrison Honor Guard.
