Dan Craft, of Lawrenceburg, was born on November 18, 1947 in Milan, the son of Fred and Marie Back Craft. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1973. He married Pamela K. Fields and she preceded him in death in October of 2010. Dan retired from Bayer Chemical and was a member of the Sunman American Legion Post #337. He was a former member of Sunman/Manchester Life Squad, worked with Habitat for Humanity, and enjoyed fishing. On Saturday, September 24, at the age of 68, he passed away at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg.
Those surviving who will cherish Dan’s memory include his sons, Danny Craft and Chris Craft of Lawrenceburg; daughter, Kismet Craft of Lawrenceburg; 3 granddaughters, Sarah, Brooklyn and Madison, and brothers, Richard (Roberta) Craft of Casa Grande, AZ, and Alton (Georgia) Craft of Bright. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Services, officiated by Pastor Brian Harrison are at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors provided by the Sunman American Legions will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
