Waldron defeated Batesville 4-1 in boys tennis. Carson Meyer in #3 singles notched the Bulldogs’ lone win. The Mohawks also took the jayvee match 2-1. The #1 doubles team of Max Walter and Eli Doll had the only win for Batesville.
In varsity volleyball, it was Greensburg over North Decatur in five sets. The Pirates also won the JV contest in two sets.
Greensburg Junior High Volleyball took down Rushville in two sets. Scores were 29-27, 25-21.
The Reds fell to the Guardians 5-2 last night in Cleveland. Cincinnati is off today before starting the final series of the year tomorrow afternoon against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
The Connecticut Sun eliminated the Indiana Fever from the WNBA playoffs with an 87-81 win at home. Connecticut wins the series two games to none. Caitlin Clark led the Fever with 25 points, six rebounds and nine assists.
