Oldenburg, IN— According to Freudenfest officials, the Dachshund Dog race at the fest is canceled on Saturday due to the high temperatures expected in the area over the weekend. After speaking with the owners of the animal, officials deemed this the safest option for the pets.
Also, the Sisters of St. Francis have canceled the tours of Michaela Farms due to the extreme heat.
ALL other activities are still scheduled as planned for the two-day event.
