(Greensburg, IN) – A pipe and culvert replacement project is scheduled to begin on State Road 3 in Greensburg on or after Monday, June 1.
INDOT says the project will take place on State Road 3 between U.S. 421 and the Central Railroad of Indiana railroad crossing located just west of U.S. 421.
During the project, single-lane closures and lane shifts will be used on northbound and southbound State Road 3.
Work at this location is expected to be complete in late July, weather permitting.
An additional pipe and culvert replacement project will take place on State Road in Decatur County following this project.
INDOT says it will provide additional schedule information at a later date via INDOT News, Facebook, and X.
This project is part of a $2.2 million contract awarded to Calumet Civil Contractors, Inc. in September 2025.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
