Lawrenceburg, In. — To show its appreciation for its members and the community, the Dearborn County Hospital Federal Credit Union (DCHFCU) made a generous donation of $1,500 to the Dearborn County Hospital Foundation Scholarship Program. This marks the DCHFCU’s fourth consecutive annual donation to the Foundation for a total of $5,000.
Katee Goodpaster, Chief Executive Officer of the Dearborn County Hospital Federal Credit Union, presented the check to Robert “Rocky” Schroeder, Dearborn County Hospital Foundation President.
“The DCHFCU had another exceptional year and we want to share our success. Since its founding in 1962, the Credit Union has been an excellent steward of our members’ money and a respected member of the community,” explained Mrs. Goodpaster. “As part of our commitment to our members, the hospital and our Southeastern Indiana communities, we are happy to award $1,500 to the DCH Foundation for its 2018 scholarship program.”
Services of the DCHFCU include automobile, personal and student loans; home mortgages and home equity loans; Christmas Club and Vacation Club accounts; savings and checking accounts; IRAs; CDs; debit cards; ATM service; bill pay services and online home and mobile banking. Deposits are guaranteed up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
All DCH and DCH Physician Partners employees, Medical Staff members, Auxilians and Board of Trustees members, along with individuals from an additional 26 entities in the area and their immediate families, are automatically eligible to join the DCH Federal Credit Union. The public may qualify for membership in the Credit Union by making a donation to the Dearborn County Hospital Foundation.
The DCH Federal Credit Union is located on the far southeast end of the main hospital building at 600 Wilson Creek Road in Lawrenceburg. Credit Union office and drive-through hours are weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional drive-through hours on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
