Crash with minor injuries on US 421

Napoleon, IN — The Ripley County Sheriff’s Department, responded to a single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening with minor injuries, just north of Youngman’s Gas Station in Napoleon.  

A semi-truck and trailer, being driven by Cameron Love, 35, of Indianapolis, lost control on the wet road while traveling northbound.  The semi-truck struck and went through the guard rail on the west side of the roadway and landed in the creek.  

Agencies that responded to the scene included the Napoleon Volunteer Fire Department, the Osgood Police Department, and Ripley County EMS.  US 421 was closed off and on for 2 hours for cleanup.
