CPD investigating armed robbery

Columbus, IN— The Columbus Police Department is investigating an armed robbery after two suspects entered a Columbus cell phone store shortly before 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.  The suspects, who were both armed, demanded money from the cash register and later fled the Cellular Connection/Verizon Wireless store, located at 2075 W. Jonathan Moore Pike, with an undisclosed amount of currency and cellular phones.  No injuries were reported.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 20-40 years of age, approximately 5’7”-5’8” tall with a stocky build and broad shoulders.  He was wearing a blue and yellow hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants, and black sunglasses.  Suspect #1 also had a bandage on his left arm from his elbow to his wrist.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 20-40 years of age, approximately 6’2”-6’3” tall with a slender build.  He was wearing blue plaid pajama pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt, and black sunglasses.
