Columbus, IN — Investigators from the Columbus Police Department (CPD) are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Columbus pharmacy early Thursday morning. CPD officers were dispatched to the reported robbery at Walgreens, located on Beam Road, around 5 am.
It was determined that a white male with a slender build wearing a blue face covering, flannel shirt, gray sweatpants, and dark shoes entered the pharmacy and stated that he had a firearm. The man fled the pharmacy on foot a short time later with an undisclosed amount of US currency.
