Statewide—The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 836 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 as of Tuesday. A total of 69,255 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 785,018 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 8.8% positive rate and 14 new deaths were reported for a total of 2,794 Hoosiers have died to date.
Locally Dearborn County has a total of 473 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 8 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 318 positive cases and 32 deaths (up 4 new cases), Franklin County has 229 positive cases and 11 deaths (up 5 new cases and 1 new death), and Ripley County has 190 positive cases and 7 deaths (up 2 new cases). This is an increase of 19 new positive cases and 1 death locally.
