COVID cases continue to plunge across the area, state

STATEWIDE — Just two positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in Southeastern Indiana Monday, and less than 500 were confirmed across the state as the number of new cases continues to drop.

The Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) reported 468 cases statewide and zero deaths.

There were no positive cases reported in Ripley, Franklin, and Dearborn counties, while Decatur County confirmed two cases.

In addition, the state’s seven-day positivity rate has plummeted to 9.7 percent.
