COVID case numbers continue to trend downward locally, across Indiana

SOUTHEASTERN IN — The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 continues to trend in the right direction both here at home and across the state.

According to numbers released by the Indiana Department of Health on Thursday, Ripley, Franklin, and Dearborn counties each reported three positive cases, while Decatur County had one.

However, there were two virus-related deaths in Ripley County while Dearborn County confirmed one death.

Statewide, there were 484 confirmed cases and 34 deaths reported on Thursday.

Indiana’s seven-day positivity rate now stands at 5.2 percent.
