COVID-19 cases over 90,000 now across the state

Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has reported that 1,164 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday.  A total of 90,504 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,034,746 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 8.7% positive rate and 6 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,047 Hoosier deaths.

Dearborn County has a total of 564 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 5 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 389 positive cases and 34 deaths (up 9 new cases), Franklin County has 270 positive cases and 24 deaths (up 5 new cases and 1 new death), and Ripley County has 241 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 4 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 23 new positive cases and 1 new death.
