Cora Deputy and Lizzy Nobbe bring home event wins for Batesville JV Track and Field at Trojan Invitational

The Batesville JV Track and Field team traveled to East Central Thursday to compete in the Trojan Invitational. The Bulldogs came home with two individual victories and two runner-up places. Cora Deputy finished 1st in the 100m hurdles (18.95 seconds), and Lizzy Nobbe took home the event win in the 200m dash (28.9 seconds).

Runner-ups for the night were Jaden Basler in the 1600m run and the boys 4 x 100m relay team of Will Westerfeld, Azmi Destriantoro, Mathias Davalos, and Dylan Comer.

Batesville varsity track will travel to East Central this evening to compete in the Trojan Invitational.  Action begins at 5:15 pm.
