Congressman Pence votes in favor of objecting votes

The US Congress has confirmed Democrat Joe Biden as the presidential election winner early this morning after a violent group loyal to President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overturn America’s presidential election.

Lawmakers were able to continue the vote on the Electoral College tally. Indiana Senator Mike Braun changed his stance on being in favor of the objection to Arizona and Pennsylvania’s votes ultimately voting against the objection, but several Indiana Representatives, including Congressman Greg Pence, still voted in favor of objecting votes for the state of Pennsylvania.

But in the early morning hours today, lawmakers completed their work, confirming Biden won the election. Vice President Mike Pence, presiding over the joint session, announced the tally, 306-232.
