COLUMBUS, IN — Local Congressman Greg Pence (R-06) is recovering from a heart procedure over the weekend.
According to the Congressman’s office, Pence was experiencing minor chest discomfort.
“I want to take this opportunity to remind everyone to always seek medical attention when you aren’t feeling well. Cardiac care can’t wait. Doing nothing is simply not an option,” Pence said. “I am extremely thankful to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Columbus Regional Hospital for their proactive attention to keep my heart healthy.”
Congressman Pence is expected to make a full recovery and he is at home with his wife Denise and family.
He was a guest on Monday’s edition of The Daily Pod on 103.9 WRBI before his office made the announcement.
