Coalition for a Drug Free Batesville looking for new Coordinator

(Batesville, IN) – The Coalition for a Drug-Free Batesville is seeking a Coalition Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding and practical knowledge of addictions and problems associated with substance abuse; be knowledgeable in the evidence-based planning process, strategic planning, community organizing, and coalition building; establish working relationships with citizen and civic groups and how they function in relation to the Coalition; knowledge in methods of board and committee development; and the ability to research and write for available grants.

Qualified candidates must possess an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution of higher education; be credentialed as a Certified Prevention Professional or be willing to take the necessary steps to achieve this credential; effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.

A social services background or related educational/professional experience is beneficial.
