BROOKVILLE, IN — Community Mental Health Center, Inc. (CMHC) will host a memorial service in honor of Jenni Fasbinder on July 7 at 12 pm at 9127 Oxford Pike in Brookville.

Fasbinder unexpectedly passed away on July 7, 2021.

She joined CMHC in 2014 as a Case Manager with Intensive Family Services and served as a Wraparound Facilitator and Family Preservation Facilitator. She was passionate in her advocacy for children and families and ensuring they had the necessary resources and support. She was a beloved and valued mother, sister, friend, community member, and coworker.

In honor of Jenni, CMHC has installed a picnic table and engraved stone at its Brookville office. Additionally, the Community Mental Health Foundation granted funding for the “Finding Grace” room—Jenni’s old office. This serves as a combination sensory/session room. It was created with the purpose of being used for in-office skills training sessions, as well as a waiting area for patients diagnosed with autism or other sensory needs, and as an area for completing assessments.

CMHC is extending an open invitation to honor and celebrate Jenni’s life at the upcoming memorial service, on the anniversary of Jenni’s passing. In addition to the ceremony, attendees will be able to visit the “Finding Grace” room.
