(Greensburg, IN) – Part of U.S. 421 in Greensburg is scheduled to be closed on or after Monday, June 1 to complete a bridge deck overlay project.
INDOT says the closure will take place between South Poplar and East McKee streets.
The sidewalk will also be closed within project limits.
U.S. 421 is expected to reopen in the area in mid-July, weather permitting.
Detours will be in place during the closure.
This project is part of a $2.9 million contract awarded to Dave O’Mara Contractors, Inc. in October 2025.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
