(Decatur County, IN) – An upcoming closure is planned on County Road 80 over I-74 in Decatur County as part of the interstate’s current rehabilitation project.
INDOT says on or after Monday, June 1, crews will close County Road 80 to complete bridge deck overlay, bridge approach rehabilitation, and railing installation work.
County Road 80 is expected to reopen in late July, weather permitting.
The agency says it will continue to provide additional information and updates as work progresses via INDOT News, Facebook and X.

This work is part of a $74.4 million interstate improvement contract awarded to John R. Jurgensen Company in January 2026.
Overall contract work is anticipated to be complete in late 2028.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
