(Milan, IN) – Tony Clark, the CEO and General Manager of SEI Communications, has been named recipient of the prestigious Milan High School Alumni Award for the 2023-24 academic year.
Clark graduated from Milan High School in 1989 with an Academic Honors Diploma. He furthered his education at RETS Technical College where he earned a Specialized Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology in 1991.
He joined SEI Communications that year, and over the course of 34 years Clark ascended through the ranks to his current position with the company.
School officials say, under Clark’s leadership, the company has thrived as a business while playing a pivotal role in bridging the digital divide by providing broadband access to rural communities.
Clark’s achievements include securing $13 million in state grants to fund multiple fiber-to-home projects across six local counties, which have significantly contributed to enhancing access to essential resources and opportunities for residents in these underserved areas.
He is also involved in the Milan community, where he contributes to the Milan Volunteer Fire Department, Hoosier Hills Regional Water District, and the Milan ’54 Hoosiers Museum as its technology director.
Clark lives in Milan with his wife, Kris, and their three children, Josh, Riley, and Ethan.
