(Batesville, IN) – Batesville Main Street and the City of Batesville want to hear from you as they work on a downtown revitalization vision plan.
An open house will be held from 5:30 to 7 this evening at RomWeber Party Place.
Main Street Director Amy Pretzer says they want to know what you like and/or don’t like about downtown, and they’ll use that information to develop a plan that could go before city council by September.
Pretzer says, once that happens, they can start applying for grants and begin the revitalization process.
She adds funding for the downtown revitalization plan come from both Hillenbrand foundations and the city’s Redevelopment Commission.
The city is working with HWC Engineering of Indianapolis to create the plan.
Pretzer appeared on Monday’s edition of The Daily Pod. You can listen to the interview in its entirety here.
