City asking for donations by 5 PM

BATESVILLE, Ind. — Wednesday (2/8) is the last day the City of Batesville would like donations in by for the displaced families from Monday’s apartment fire.

That’s Batesville Mayor Mike Bettice.

Bettice also says they really need monetary donations to help the families affected long term.

A relief fund to provide financial assistance to victims continues at the Memorial Building, as well as MainSource Bank, and through GoFundMe.

It took around 900,000 gallons of water to extinguish Monday’s blaze, and Mayor Bettice thanks various agencies for all the help.
