Chay Lucas Ellis, 49, of Aurora, Indiana, formerly of Southend-on-Sea England, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021, in Aurora, Indiana with the comfort of friends and family.
He was born November 13, 1971, in Rochford, England, son of Christine Garner.
He followed Motocross and Supercross. He loved electronic music, and loved to spin records, calling himself DJ Charlie Cream Slice. Chay also loved riding his Harley and spending time with his “mates”. Chay was a person who thought of others first, he was very loving, caring and genuine. People loved to be around him, he will be missed by all.
He is survived by his mother, Christine Garner in England; fiancé, Bridgett Robbins and her son Hank Ainesworth of Cameron, MO; step son, Dominic Dorr of Clermont, FL; best friends, Malcolm (Malia) Currie of Aurora, IN; sister, Danielle Garner; brother, Steve Garner, of England; additional family in England, Carol Ioannou; siblings, El Ioannou, Yodi Ioannou.
He was preceded in death by brother, Patrick “Paddy” Ioannou.
Friends will be received Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the funeral home, at 6:00 pm with Pastor David Hall officiating.
