Charlotte was a shining example of faith and often professed her love for Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loving Grammy to all her 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was an example of hard work and perseverance on the farm. She and her husband, Calvin, milked cows for many years, farmed the ground, and she helped in any way she could. Her special job was to wash the milkers and she spoke about it often. She was an excellent cook and could make a meal of nothing special and taste delicious. She taught many of us about gardening, canning and butchering. She also loved to quilt and made many, many beautiful handmade quilts of which she gave to her family members. A treasured lasting memory of her extraordinary talents. Family was her heart’s delight and she treasured every moment with her loved ones. She’s leaving behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories.

She is survived by her children: Ronald (Carol) Huffmeyer, Elaine (Danny) Ortman, Gerald (Jenny) Huffmeyer, and Edward (Cindy) Huffmeyer; grandchildren: Daryl (Tricia) Huffmeyer, Benjamin (Darla) Ortman, Jed (Alison) Ortman, Tim (Terri) Huffmeyer, Joey (Sabrina) Ortman, Chris Huffmeyer, Erin (Brad) Voss, Adam (Lauren) Huffmeyer, Jonathan (Josey) Huffmeyer, and Ashton (Shane) Akridge.
