Charles William Meadows, 87

Charles Meadows, age 87, of Greensburg, went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2022. Charles was born on May 10, 1934 in Lewis County, Kentucky. He worked at Delta Faucet in Greensburg for thirty-five years and retired in 1998. He’ll be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He’s survived by his loving wife, Marcella Meadows, children: Sherry Purvis, Dianna (Bud) Huff, Linda (Doug) Spitler, Rick Meadows, Jeff (Brenda) Meadows, all of Greensburg, and daughter-in-law Diane Meadows of Florida. He’s survived by eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. He’s survived by one sister, Thelma Ward of Aberdeen, Ohio, plus several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son Chuck Meadows, grandson Robbie Purvis, and baby granddaughter Crystal Meadows. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Clara Meadows, two sisters Pauline Stambaugh and Doris Marshall, and two brothers Edward Meadows and Harry Meadows. Visitation will be in Greensburg at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home on Thursday, January 13^th, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM with funeral services officiated by Pastor Jay Vanderbur following at 1 PM and a graveside service at South Park Cemetery.
