Charles Sterling Riddle, Jr., 83

Charles Sterling Riddle, Jr. 83, of Greensburg passed away on April 27, 2026. He was born on October 2, 1942 in Wheeling, West Virginia, the son of Charles Sr. and Merle (Moore) Riddle. Charles was a 1960 graduate of Lawrenceburg High School and 1994 graduate of University of Indianapolis with an MBA. On September 18, 1965 he married Jean Idlewine. He was a Real Estate Broker at Riddle Real Estate and at one time was the President of the local Real Estate Association.
Survivors include: wife, Jean Riddle; sister in law, Carol (Jim) Splete; nephews, Cameron (Tracy) Craig and Harrison (Abi) Craig; great nieces and nephews, Meri (Ben) Oldham, Bryce (Gabe) Ramirez, John Craig, Sam Craig, Andrew Craig, Naomi Craig, Chasitie Craig, and Zachariah Craig; and a great great niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Mark and Clark Riddle.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Monday, May 4, 2026 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Rev. Ted Chalk will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the United Methodist Church or to the charity of your choice.
