Charles B. Prosser

Charles Burton Prosser, age 63 of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville.  The son of Paul Jr. and Elsie (nee: Duwhurst) Prosser was born on August 20, 1957 in French Lick, Indiana.

Charles was a 1976 graduate of Spring Valley High School in French Lick. He worked most of his life as a truck driver and then dispatch before retiring.  Working for Kimball Trucking, Hill-Rom and then Crum Trucking for 15 years. He was also a member of Milan Masonic Lodge #31 F&AM.

Charles loved to golf. He was always ready to play cards, especially poker with his buddies on Sunday night and enjoyed going to the casino too. He was quite proud of a particular day at the boat, when he walked in with $200 and out with $22,000 in winnings. He used that money to buy a new set of golf clubs, of course, and then used the rest to pay off his bills.  Most of all Charles loved spending time with his family and three grandsons.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Prosser (nee: Gartenman); step-daughter, Krystianna Sechrest; three grandsons, Michael, Caleb and Talon; along with his brother Ron Prosser (Laura) of Versailles, IN and sisters, Nancy, Hinsich (Hank) of Villonia, IN and Karen Wallace (Ron) of Plainfield, IN.

A memorial service will be at a later date due to Covid-19 pandemic.
