Charlene J. Faust, age 67 of Batesville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, with her family by her side. Born July 26, 1956, in Batesville. She is the daughter of Joseph and Eunice (Nee: Metz) Miller. She married Gregory Faust on February 21, 1976, in New Alsace on, Indiana. Charlene worked for the Hill-Rom Company, Gardens Alive and Home Helpers.
Charlene was a very organized individual. She had a love for sewing and puzzles. She enjoyed spending time at the casino and going to yard sales with her grandchildren. She traveled to Haiti on the St. Anthony Mission trip and continues to sponsor at-need Haitian children. Charlene was a beautiful kind soul. She was always putting the ones she loved first, even up until the end.
She is survived by her husband Gregory Faust of Batesville; daughters Angela Sheldon of Milford, Ohio and Jessica Faust of Batesville; son Kyle (Jennifer) Faust of Batesville; grandchildren Alexander, Olivia (Carlito), Isaac, Elise, Quinn and a great granddaughter due in October; sisters Cynthia Moody of Cincinnati, Cathy (Jerome) Hoog of Sunman, Indiana, Constance Miller and Bonnie Krekeler, both of Batesville; brothers Joseph Miller Jr. and Scott (Tammy) Miller, all of Batesville. Goddaughter Nichole Eichhold of Cincinnati, Ohio and Godson Steven Miller of Batesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In accordance with Charlene’s wishes, cremation was chosen by the family. A Memorial of Life Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, July 26th at 11:00 a.m. A private Celebration of Life will be held following the Mass for family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anthony Church Haiti Mission Fund.
