Charlene H. Beck

Charlene Hope (Murray) Beck was called home to the lord on December 21, 2021, at 3:19 PM after a long battle with Interstitial Lung Disease at the age of 47. She was diagnosed seven years ago with a prognosis of three years, which is a testament to her being a strong-willed fighter.

She was born in Cincinnati, OH, on November 30, 1974, to Theodore and Lauren (Mansu) Murray. She was a 1993 graduate of Switzerland County High School and worked at Hill-Rom for ten plus years before becoming disabled. Charlene will be remembered as a devoted, loving mother by her children and as someone with a contagious laugh by all who knew her. She always tried to live life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, food, traveling, riding horses, being outdoors, and spending as much time as possible with her children.

She is preceded in death by her father, Theodore Murray. Her significant other, Jamison Laker survives her, along with her mother, Lauren (Mansu) Murray; her brothers Ted, Brian, Shawn, and Stephen Murray; sister, Rebecca (Murray) Smith; sister-in-law Nazarena Sejour; many nieces and nephews; her children, Mercede Cooper (Mike R.), Lexi Cooper (Francis P.), Kaiya Young (Dee H.), Calysa Young (Brandon S.), Kolvin Beck, Corrado Beck, Samuel Beck, and Ethan Beck; her granddaughter, Jade Cooper; step-children, Erica Reeves, Christina Beck, and Natalie Beck; and step-grandchildren Makayla, Hannah, Jacob, Lucas, and Raylin; plus one step great-granddaughter, August.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 1-3 PM followed by 3pm funeral service all at Dearborn Baptist Church, 9638 St. Rd. 48, Aurora, IN 47001. Bro. Rob Smith officiating.
