Charges filed in Aurora double homicide

Aurora, In. — The son and grandson and his girlfriend have been charged with the murders of Walter Bryant, 76 and Faith Craig, 58, both of Aurora.

Police found their bodies on the evening of January 19 while performing a welfare check. Both had stab wounds and Bryant suffered blunt force trauma to the head.

Son and grandson of the victims, Cody Wayne Booth, 28, and his girlfriend, Margie Lynn Thompson, 47, have been charged with two counts of murder, two counts of conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of robbery causing serious bodily injury and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery.

Booth and Thompson were found the following day driving Bryant’s car in Pulaski County Kentucky.

Booth was also wanted for a parole violation from Kentucky.
