The North Decatur Chargers Baseball team blew out The Edinburgh Lancers 16-2 on Monday.
ND got on the board in the first inning and scored eight runs in the fourth inning. Nick Gall, Ty Litmer, Noah Howell, and Ried Messer each had RBIs in the frame.
Carson Parmer earned the win for The Chargers. Parmer surrendered two runs on two hits over five innings, striking out 13. Noah Detling took the loss for Edinburgh. The hurler allowed one hit and four runs over two and a third innings, striking out three.
Trent Gauck went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead North in hits. Ian Buchanan led The Lancers with two hits in three at-bats.
