Chargers Lose To Jets

The North Decatur Chargers Varsity Baseball team fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 7-0 loss to The Hauser Jets on Thursday. Hauser took the lead on a double in the second inning.

The Chargers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Hauser, giving up seven runs.

The Jets got on the board in the first inning when a single by Jacob Mirick in the second inning was a positive for ND.

Miller led The Jets to victory on the hill. The ace went six innings, allowing zero runs on three hits and striking out 13. Rork threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Carson Parmer took the loss for ND. The right-hander lasted four and a third innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out 11.

Nate O’Dell, Mirick, and Ried Messer each collected one hit to lead The Chargers

Hauser had seven hits in the game. Miller and Gollmer each racked up multiple hits for The Jets.
