The ND Charger Boys Middle School Track Finishes 2nd At Tri

Brad Krieger won the 100m dash with a solid 13.0-second finish. With Marshall Snell finishing 3rd. Eli Weisenbach ran a 5′ 53″ 1600m to place second in a highly contested race. The 400m relay team consisting of Brad Krieger, Cooper Parmer, Marshall Snell, and Kaysar Bowles ran a 53.7″ to take a well deserved win. Connor Goolsby finished 2nd in the 400m Dash. Cooper Parmer won the 200m dash with a time of 28.8 seconds. Logan O’Dell (1st at 14’2″) and Brad Krieger (2nd with 14’0″) dominated the long jump – while Cooper Parmer (1st with 4’10”) and Marshall Snell (2nd with a jump of 4′ 4″) prevailed in the high jump.

The final score left North in 2nd place overall with a score of 46 to Tri’s 60 team points.

The North Decatur Junior High Girls Track team took second place at their track meet on Thursday night with a total of 44 points and Tri High having 63 points. Here are some highlights from Thursday night:

The 400-meter relay and the 1600 meter relay teams both took second place.

Madi Allen took first place in the high jump and long jump, second place for the 1600 meter run, and was part of the 1600 meter relay team. Sydney Rohls took first place for the disc and second place for the high jump.

Sarah Moeller took first place for hurdles, third place for the 1600 meter run, and was part of our 1600 meter relay. Kara Lowe took 3rd place for the 400-meter run and was part of the 400-meter relay team. Zoey Hersley took 4th place in the 400-meter run and was part of the 400-meter relay team. Clare Kinker took second place in the 800-meter run and was part of the 1600 meter relay team. Hannah Gorrell took first place for the 100-meter dash, third place for the 800-meter run, and was part of the 400. Breanna McBride took third place for the 100-meter dash and fourth place in the 200-meter dash. Jewell Versman took second place in the 200-meter dash. Emma Schoettmer took third place in the shot put and fourth place in disc.
