Friday is the last opportunity to purchase tickets at a discount price for the Butler vs. Providence game at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Sunday at 6 p.m.
It will be much more than a college basketball game for Milan Indian fans as Butler will be honoring the 1954 state champion team with a celebration called “Milan Community Day.”
Local fans will have an opportunity to meet the legends of that historic team including Bobby Plump, Rollin Cutter, Gene White, Ray Craft and many more during the game.
Regular priced tickets are $24 per adult and $11 per child. For those attending Milan Community Day, tickets are discounted to $20 per adult and $8 per child. Friday is the last chance to receive the offer.
A fan bus will be available at no charge for Milan and area residents who want to go to the game. It will leave from Milan High School parking lot at 3 p.m. To reserve a spot on the bus, call the Ripley County Tourism Bureau at (812) 68-7431 by noon Friday.
