Cecil Senters, 86, of Moores Hill passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Ripley Crossing. Cecil was born on Friday, August 27, 1937, in Manchester, Kentucky; son of Jabe and Fannie (Johnson) Senters. Cecil married the love of his life, Billie (Kersey) Senters, on March 2, 1958, and she preceded him in death on May 27, 2005. Cecil owned and operated his own brick masonry business named, “Cecil Senters Brick Mason.” He enjoyed working on mowers, gardening, and hunting. Cecil was known to be an animal lover, especially loving his cats. Cecil most of all cherished spending time with his family.
Cecil will be missed by his daughters Janet (Eric) Kaulig of Moores Hill and Phyllis (David) Thompson of Moores Hill; sister Perlie Jackson of Manchester, Kentucky; grandchildren Justin Thompson, William Thompson, Honey Hopkins, Ethan Kaulig, and Olivia Kaulig; and great-grandchildren Emma, Logan, Bailey, Maya, and Lorelai.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents Jabe and Fannie Senters; wife Billie Senters; brothers Doise, Lloyd, Cephas, and Estill Senters; and sisters Clara Howard and Mona Rowland.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00-5:00 PM, Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will follow at 5:00 PM. Memorials may be given in honor of Cecil to Fragile X.
