Cayden Beagle finished fourth in the 106-pound weight class at Saturday’s wrestling regional, punching his ticket to next weekend’s semistate at New Castle High School. Beagle opened his regional with a win by pin. He fell in his second and third matches of the day, earning a fourth-place finish. Landin Shepherd also competed in the regional at 132 pounds. Shepherd was defeated in his morning match 15-0. Saturday’s semistate at the historic New Castle Fieldhouse begins Saturday at 9 a.m.
