The South Ripley Varsity Volleyball team beat county rival JCD tonight in a 4 set match. SR came out on fire taking the first set 25-9. SR took the second set 25-18.

The Batesville Lady Bulldogs soccer team improved to 2-0 on Thursday night with a conference win over the Rushville Lady Lions.

Batesville was able to outshoot Rushville 34-0.

The 7th grade Bulldogs played East Central and lost 28 – 8.

Batesville scored its lone touchdown on a 64 yard pass from RJ Powell to Pros Moorman.

The Lady Pirates traveled to South Dearborn and lost 3-0 in an EIAC match.

The 7th grade volleyball team got off to a slow start Thursday night with an 18-25 loss to Jac-Cen-Del. There was a huge turn-around in the second game.

The St. Louis 7th Grade Volleyball team fall to The Sunman-Dearborn Lady Trojans 25-9, 25-16.

The Batesville Boys and Girls Cross Country team hosted their opening season meet and they both got off to a 3 and 0 start on Thursday night by defeating Greensburg, North Decatur, and South Decatur.

The Jac-Cen-Del junior high cross country teams opened the season tonight (Thursday) in a tri-meet at JCD with Sunman Dearborn and Milan.

The JCD girls’ team was 2nd and the JCD boys’ team was 1st.

The Oldenburg Academy Boys Soccer team lost to Knightstown Thursday evening 1-0.
