Carolyn Ann Brewsaugh, 86, of Greensburg, was a caring wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend. She went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 27th, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 19, 1938, in Greensburg, the daughter of Harry and Grace (Evans) Carder. Carolyn was a 1956 graduate of Sandcreek High School. Upon graduation, she worked at Union Bank and Trust for thirteen years until she met her life-long soulmate, Robert L. Brewsaugh. They married on February 22, 1969, and they had two children, Amanda, and Scott. Carolyn was the heart of her home, finding joy in nurturing and serving her family. She took great pride in serving their home, preparing meals with love, and supporting Bob in every dream, whether that was on the farm or his excavating business. Her unwavering dedication and love to her family was a constant foundation and will be cherished forever.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Carolyn. She enjoyed golfing, traveling to new places with loved ones, or cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events and 4-H activities. She loved going out to dinner and cherished the time spent with her family and friends. Carolyn’s warmth, smile, and love was infectious to all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Carolyn was a proud member of the Greensburg Country Club, Sandusky Methodist Church, and also devoted time volunteering at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
