Carlee Jo Orr, Batesville

The world changed on June 24, 2024, when Carlee Jo Orr entered it. She was the precious daughter of Jacob and Sierra (Billman) Orr, born at St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana. From the moment she arrived, she was the center of her family’s world. Carlee’s infectious smile and bright presence brought joy to everyone who knew her.

On February 8, 2025, Carlee gained her angel wings at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, leaving behind memories that will forever be cherished. Though her time with us was far too brief, the impact she made on her family and loved ones will never fade.

Throughout her short life, Carlee had many cherished nicknames, with her favorite being “Carlee Bucket.” She loved her toys and had a dear friend, Chandler, whom she would simply stare at and smile. Chandler, in fact, was the chandelier in her home, and Carlee would glow with joy every time she gazed at the light.

She is survived by her parents, Jacob and Sierra Orr; maternal grandparents, Carl and Bonnie (Mozingo) Billman; paternal grandparents, Harley and Janet Orr; uncles, Matthew Billman, Zachary Orr, and Michael Orr; aunts, Sara Tekulve, Rebecca (Shawn) Waller, and Tiffany Orr.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with burial at Fink’s Church Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all for their words of comfort and prayers during this difficult time. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Luvs N Hugs Day Care for the love and care they provided in caring for Carlee.

Online condolences may be expressed at nealsfuneralhome.net. Memorial donations may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.

If spoiling a baby with love and attention were a crime, her parents were most certainly guilty as charged.
