Carl W. “Chipper” Cline, 68 of Milan passed away Friday June 24, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky.  Chipper was born Friday July 11, 1947 in Milan the son of Joseph Carl and Ada (Earls) Cline.  He was united in marriage to Judith Garteman April 16, 1966 at St. Pius Catholic Church.  He worked at Cummings Engine at Columbus for 49 years, and also operated a painting business for many years.  He had served in the Army Reserves, and was a former member of the Milan Fire Dept, and was a member of the Diesel Workers Union.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, part time gardener, and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Chipper is survived by wife Judy, daughters Melissa (Mike) Hertzenberg and Monica (Eric) Widener, grandchildren Megan and Leah Hertzenberg and Morgan and Erin Widener;  sisters Dianna Cline, Brenda (James) Bowen, Barbara Shelton, brothers Denny Callen, and Steve (Kaye) Callen.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Roger Cline.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the Family.
