Cardinals And Chargers Track Quad Meet Results At JCD

The St. Louis Track & Field Meet at Jac-Cen-Del on (4-19) was a Tri-Meet featuring North Decatur, Jac-Cen-Del, and St. Louis. 

St. Louis Girls placed second with 35 points, despite having only 5 participants.  The 4×400 meter relay finished first again this meet with a time of 5:28.  Rachel Suttman, Belle Young, Haley Frey, and Felicity Brelage completed the relay team.  Rachel Suttman finished first in both shot put at 24′ 6″ and discuss at 67′ 4″.  Belle Young placed first in 100-meter dash at 15.5 seconds and first in the 400 meter at 74 seconds. Haley Frey had a first-place finish and personal record in the mile at 6:55.  Felicity Brelage placed second in the 100-meter dash at 15.7 seconds.  The 4×100 meter relay team placed second with a 65.2-second finish featuring Rachel Suttman, Emily Schebler, Haley Frey, and Felicity Brelage.

 
The Boy’s team placed second with 38 points.  The boy’s 4×400 meter relay team continued to defend the first place position this meet started with Ethan Rahschulte’s key contribution to the team in Milan.  The team featured Griffin Koester, Marc Meneses, Christian Mack, and Santiago Schutte with a new personal best of 4:45.86.  Griffin Koester placed first in the 1600 meter race with a time of 5:50, and first in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:41.7 (personal record).  Christian Mack placed first in the 200-meter sprint at 29.06, and first in the 400-meter sprint at 65.9 seconds.  Both times were personal records for Christian.  Santiago Schutte was second in the 800 meter run with a personal record at 2:50.7.  The 4×100 meter relay team finished second composed of Christian Mack, Matthew Lambert, Marc Meneses, and Cayden Lieland with a time of 64.49 seconds.

Final Team scores show a tight meet with JCD in first with 46, ND in 2nd with 43, and St. Louis in 3rd with 38.

Brad Krieger placed first in the long jump with a PR 15’4″ jump and Logan O’Dell jumped 14′ even to place 3rd. The discuss was tightly contested with only 15 inches separating 1st and 3rd place. Cooper Parmer came away with 3rd after throwing 81’3″. North Decatur’s Eli Weisenbach placed first in the 110 hurdles with a PR of 21.3 seconds and Adam Wade placed 2nd at 23.8. Brad Krieger placed 3rd in the 100m dash at 13.5 seconds. Weisenbach also managed a 5:58 1600m to finish 2nd place. In the 400m dash, Eli Weisenbach finished 3rd at 1:12.5. Cooper Parmer won the high jump clearing 5’0″. Nathan O’Dell finished 3rd in the 800m run with a PR of 2:55.4. Cooper Parmer finished 2nd in the 200m dash @ 28.2 seconds.

The North Decatur Junior High girls track team took first place at their three-way meet last night at Jac-Cen-Del! North Decatur took first with 58 points, St. Louis took second place with 43 points, and Jac-Cen-Del took third with 24 points. Some highlights are:

Our 400-meter relay team took first place and our 1600 meter relay team took second place. Madi Allen took first place in the high jump and long jump. Sydney Rohls took second place in the high jump and disc. Sarah Moeller took second place in the hurdles, third place for the 1600 meter run, and was part of our 1600 meter relay team. Breanna McBride took third place in the 100-meter dash and was part of the 400-meter relay team. Emma Schoetmer took third place for shot put. Cecilia Barber took fourth place in the shot put and was part of our 400-meter relay team. Anna Mauer took fourth place for discus. Olivia Reisman took second place in the 400 run and fourth place in the 200-meter dash. Dottie Robbins took third place in the 400 run, third place for the 200-meter dash, and was part of our 1600 meter relay team. Zoey Hersley took fourth place in the 400-meter run and was part of our 400-meter relay team. Clare Kinker took first place in the 800-meter run and was part of our 1600 meter relay team. Leila Leffel took fourth place in the 800-meter run.
