St. Louis School Track & Field Time finished 3rd for both girls and boys in the 4/12/2021 Milan Meet with both teams earning 31 points respectively. This was a quad meet featuring South Ripley, Rising Sun, St. Louis, and Milan.
Rachel Suttman earned a blue ribbon in discuss with a throw of 77′ 10″. Marc Meneses finished first in shot put with a throw of 28″ 10″. The boys and girls 4×400 relay teams had strong performances and first-place finishes. The girls team is composed of Rachel Suttman, Lexi Scheiner, Haley Frey, and Felicity Brelage with a time of 5:19. The boys team is composed of Christian Mack, Ethan Raschulte, Griffin Koester, and Santiago Schutte with a time of 4:47. Cayden Lieland placed second in discuss with a 56′ 7″ throw. Belle Young finished second in the 400 meter dash at 73.9 seconds. Haley Frey finished second in the 400 meters at 3:13 seconds.
Both teams demonstrated great sportsmanship and effort, it was an excellent first meet that we plan to build on going forward.
