The St. Louis Cardinals 6th grade boys basketball team played their 3rd game of the season tonight at home vs. St. Mary’s of North Vernon and came up short by the score of 36-28.
The Cardinals fell behind early and struggled to make up the deficit due to 21 turnovers and poor defense. The Cardinals had a balanced scoring attack again and were led by Charlie Schebler (9), Ben Harmeyer (9), Cy Muckerheide (5) Nate Vankirk (3) and Luke Meyer (2). Aidan Geers, Frank Forbeck and Jack Hollins played well on the boards for the Cardinals.
The next game will be this Monday, November 7th at home against Mount Carmel at 6:00pm.
