Dillsboro, IN — Wheelock Lake Campground has announced that the official Grand Opening celebration will take place on Saturday, April 17 through Sunday, April 18.
The event will kick off from 4 to 8 pm with live music, a fried chicken dinner from 6 to 8 pm, and a DJ from 8 pm to midnight. Weather permitting the ReMax hot air balloon will be on site. Sunday there will be lunch from 11 to 1 pm with a ribbon cutting following immediately after lunch.
The event is free to all campground members, veterans, and first responders. The public may attend with a free-will offering suggested. Proceeds will go towards future charitable events.
