Cameras to roll in court during Delphi murder suspect’s status hearing

(Fort Wayne, IN) – For the first time, broadcast cameras will be allowed to roll inside a Fort Wayne courtroom during Thursday’s status hearing for Richard Allen

He’s the man accused of killing Libby German and Abby Williams near the Monon Bridge in Delphi six years ago.

Defense attorneys support the move while prosecutors do not – citing concerns about the amount of attention the case has received.

Allen was arrested and charged with two counts of murder in the case a year ago this month.

The two girls disappeared while walking a trail on February 13, 2017.

Their bodies were found the next day.
