Crop Walk supports hunger\, poverty\, displacement\, and disaster and 25% of the funds raised will be returned to Ripley County Food Pantries. \nThe CROP project began in 1947 when farmers were asked to donate food and seed crops to our hungry neighbors in Post-WWII Europe and Asia. The first CROP took place in 1969 and since\, has been held in hundreds of large and small communities\, raising millions of dollars to eradicate hunger and poverty.

DESCRIPTION:The Batesville High School (BHS) Music Department\, in partnership with the Batesville Music Boosters\, is excited to announce the first-ever Batesville Marching Invitational\, taking place on Saturday\, September 27\, 2025\, at the BHS football stadium. This event will welcome marching bands from across the region to compete in an exciting day of music\, precision\, and school spirit. Gates open at 12:00 PM; Event begins at 1:00 PM at the BHS Football Stadium\n(Parking available behind the school. Guests should enter through the designated ticket gate.)\nAdmission: $10 for adults\, $5 for children (ages 10 & under)\nConcessions and food vendors will be available beginning at noon. Guests are encouraged to bring cash for purchases.\nWhile the BHS Marching Band will not compete\, as event hosts they will present a special exhibition performance at the end of the day\, showcasing the program’s talent and dedication.
