Batesville defeated Shelbyville 3-2 on Monday to close out the regular season. The #2 doubles team of Adam Scott and Cooper Williams picked up the first point for Batesville while George Ritter won his match at #2 singles. With the match score at 2-2, Lleyton Ratcliffe pulled out a big win at #1 singles for the deciding point for Batesville.
In JV, the Bulldogs lost 1-3. Grant Story picked up the only win for the Bulldgos.
Batesville closes out the regular season with a 12-7 record while the JV was 11-2.
Batesville will play South Dearborn in the opening round of the sectional on Wednesday at 4:30.
