The Bulldogs Swim team competed at Madison High School on Monday January 29th wrapping up the duel meet season for the 2017-18 school year. The Cubs won 103-47.
This meet was originally a coed meet scheduled for January 23, but was rescheduled for a boys-only dual meet. “The boys swam an amazing meet, given the tight timeline and odd schedule, being as how it’s on a Monday night. The team had 5 life-time or season best times tonight which is amazing considering we only had 6 boys in the water.”
Joseph Choi (Sr.) was the lone event winner of the night for the Bulldogs, taking the 100 Breast in a time of 1:13.65.
Ethan Brewer (Fr.) finished with two second-place finishes in the 200 IM and 100 Free. Skylar Simpson (So.) rounded out top 2 finishers with a second in the 100 Back.
The women’s team heads to Columbus North for Sectional Prelims on Thursday, February 1, 2018 and Finals on Saturday, February 3.
The men’s team heads to Sectionals at Columbus North on February 15 and 17, 2018.
