Event winners included the 200 Free Relay composed of Gwen Martin, Audra Brewer, Jenna Ertel and Sonja Gaulin, Ashley Daulton (100 back), and Allison Storms (100 Breast).
Event runner-ups included girls 200 Medley Relay (Daulton, A. Brewer, Storms, Kate Poltrack), Halle Renck (200 IM), Gwen Martin (50 Free), Gaulin (100 Free), Joseph Choi (100 Free, 100 Breast), Poltrack (500 Free), Boys 200 Free Relay (Skylar Simpson, Adam Hollowell, Mason Enneking, Choi), S. Simpson (100 Back), Ertel (100 Breast), Girls 400 Free Relay (Martin, Gaulin, Poltrack, Storms), Boys 400 Free Relay (Quinn Rasnick, Grant Meyers, Ethan Brewer, Choi).
Batesville Bulldogs traveled to Milan High School Thursday evening to take on the LHS Tigers and Milan Indians. BHS Women took the top spot by a narrow margin finishing with 112 points. Milan finished with 104 and LHS with 57. The boys team took third scoring 72 points. Milan won the meet with 109 while LHS scored 79.
Ashley Daulton led event winners by winning both of her individual events (100 Back and 50 Free). With Kate Poltrack following up with a win in the 500 and a second place finish in the 200 Free. Allison storms also finished with a first and second place finish in the 100 Free and 50 Free, respectively.
The boys team was lead by Joseph Choi’s two third place finishes in the 100 Free and 100 Breast.
BHS Swimming travels to St. Leon to take on the East Central Trojans January 16 and returns to Milan on January 18 to take on the Milan Indians, LHS Tigers and Rebels of Southwestern.
